This project is for artist exposure, community involvement, and contribution to beautifying The Bay Area. Artists that are selected to paint their design on one of the murals will be granted a small stipend and have paint + supplies covered (up to a certain amount)!

The Bay Area Mural Program is a non-profit organization, in close collaboration with Bay Area organizers and its property owners, to bring new public art of high artistic quality and enduring value to the surrounding area. This project aspires to trigger our imagination and create a deeper sense of community in The Bay Area.

"The Seer" Mural @ 7th West by Rachel Wolfe The Winner of  the 2018 Battle of the Canvas


The primary focus for the project’s inaugural year of 2019 will be on implementing five fresh new mural designs on the external walls of businesses in the Bay Area by summer 2019.We are looking for original, creative, vibrant and engaging design proposals for two-dimensional, outdoor murals from talented artists both far and wide. BAMP Administration will careful review all proposals and select the 5 best images suited for each wall. Once we've made our final selection  Artists will be notified and posted, so please check back often.

  • Location B: Orlando's Corner Store 1048 30th Street, Oakland, CA

  • Location C: Studio 1405, 1405 Georgia Street, Vallejo CA

*All Artist selected will have basic supplies covered and a small stipend.
